hercurly this album is absolutely brilliant, combining several different styles of music and instruments. the bouncy bass lines are highly reminiscent of Japanese jazz-fusion, and the album is so smooth, it feels like liquid gold. highly recommend Favorite track: Ecstatic Furniture.

about

Since discovering a mysterious framed picture of two Japanese pool players, left on the side of the road leaning against a rubbish bin in Grey Lynn in November 2020, I've been recording stacks of music centred around lots of synths and drum machines, influenced by everything from 70s krautrock to Burt Bacharach with these two guys overlooking everything from up above on the wall. The results of these home recording experiments are presented here.
